it offers you so much value that it's best to think of it as an enchantment that costs no mana, at the expense of skipping a land-drop for the turn

And I wonder how the people behind the aggressively-mid FF Trading Card Game from Square Enix must be feeling

When it enters the battlefield, you search your library for a creature with mana value 1 or less

Based on this, Spoils was probably supposed to be a functional reprint of Untamed Wilds, but jsut became more powerful due to the simplified nature of the set
